Friends of the Bedford Animal Shelter is dedicated to fundraising for the city of Bedford Animal Shelter, applying for grants, sponsorships, and donations from all entities, and providing volunteers. We are committed to ensuring the well-being of animals in our community and beyond.

Fundraise
Events/Gala
Our mission aims to help the Bedford Animal Shelter improve its operations, protect its officers and build a capitol improvement fund. We will use grants, sponsorships, individual donations to achieve the goal. The Gala Committee will host an extraordinary event each year to increase the donations and have a entertaining evening with friends and contributors.
Medical Assistance
Your donations will provide medical assistance to animals in need, ensuring they receive the necessary veterinary care, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering services to improve their overall health and well-being.
Adoption/VolunteerSupport
Our adoption support program aims to help the Bedford Animal Shelter match animals with families. We plan to help with events and if given permission provide the shelter with more opportunities to help animals be adopted at events in the County.
Education and Training
We will offer educational programs and training sessions to equip pet owners with the knowledge and skills required to care for their animals, addressing topics such as behavioral training, nutrition, and the importance of regular veterinary visits.
Community Outreach
Our community outreach programs are designed to engage with local residents, businesses, and organizations to raise awareness about animal welfare issues, promote adoption events, and encourage responsible pet ownership.
